- 02Dr. Eli Kraiem's approach focuses on empowering individuals, fostering collaboration, building resilience, and nurturing hope. With a diverse background in various therapeutic methods, Dr. Eli Kraiem tailors his approach to meet each person's specific needs. Depending on the situation, he may use a more structured, goal-oriented strategy or focus on exploring deeper thoughts and emotions. His profound understanding of the mind and relationships is rooted in the psychoanalytic tradition, while he also incorporates other techniques, such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), emotion-focused therapy, and mindfulness practices, as appropriate.
- 03Yes, Dr. Eli Kraiem provides HIPPA compliant Telehealth therapy sessions for your convenience. This allows you to prioritize your mental health comfortably from your own space.
- 04Dr. Eli Kraiem does not contract with any insurance companies and services are provided “out of network”, on a private pay basis only. As a courtesy, Dr. Eli Kraiem provides patients with all the support and paperwork they need to get the maximum “out of network” benefit from their insurance companies, which means that a significant portion of your sessions may be covered.
- 05Here are three tips that I recommend to all individuals beginning therapy: 1. Be as honest and open as possible, including providing feedback on what aspects of the therapy are helpful or not. 2. Consider starting a journal or diary to record any thoughts, uncomfortable feelings, significant interactions, fantasies, or dreams that arise between sessions and that you wish to discuss. 3. In addition to attending sessions regularly, maintaining and enhancing your mental health involves personal efforts. Key components include a balanced diet and regular exercise, nurturing close friendships and meaningful relationships, engaging in hobbies, and allowing for relaxation. It’s also beneficial to hold larger values and beliefs beyond daily concerns, as these can significantly impact your stress levels.
